Hammer and sear problems would show up in a hurry and necessitate immediate action, whereas some issues are met with denial, even as the fixes are undertaken. It's the nature of the beast in any mass-produced gun. Every design has had upgrades to it over time. Initially, tolerance stacking lead to actions locking up, hardly a desirable feature in a $5,000 shotgun. Look at Blaser-after a couple internal remodeling jobs, the guns work like they are supposed to. Those would be the folks who made guns the ribs fell off of when shot and the lifters were bent and wouldn't feed? Those folks? They all know crap happens when you manufacture guns.
